First, We did not win both wars in weeks, Iraq or Afghanistan, in fact, neither one is over and we have won nothing.
Next, regarding the rebuilding is another false claim,as Iraq is still for the most part without the utilities they had before our invasion and destruction of their infrastructure.
They are still trying to get by with part time delivery of water, sewer and electric.
Now, one of your biggest line of bullcrap, is the one about creating a self sufficient government,as we are constantly pouring money into both countries, money badly needed here at home.

So I moved into this apartment with my BF in december. When we interviewed with the landlord she told us flat out that this was a quiet building and if we were party guys then we best look somewhere else. Since moving in I may of gotten 4 nights of full sleep. My neighbors upstairs are constantly stomping around. I know that in an apartment noise is just part of it. Things get dropped, cupboards may get slammed, I get that. But this guy and his wife are ridiculously loud. From 7am to 12 at night I can hear them moving from room to room and most often, the couch to the refrigerator. I’ve mentioned this to my landlord twice now. Each time she goes on to say that it’s an old building and it can’t be helped. Well the guy below me hasn’t heard me once since I moved in. I don’t tip toe, I don’t shuffle. I just don’t stomp.
I’m at my limit. Not only must I hear them tromping around, but late at night his snoring wakes me. The sliding glass door is always opening and banging closed. I can hear him going to the bathroom. I can hear them having sex. This is NOT a quiet building. I feel lied too. If I had known any of this I wouldn’t of signed anything. She had gone up to speak with them after the first complaint. After the second she told us that she had asked them to walk for her! Can you believe that? As if they would walk how they normally do while she’s watching! But I’m stuck here till december. Truly, if anyone knows anything to help please do tell. I cannot afford to break a lease and pay for it and there is no way in hell I’m giving the landlord anymore money. The other night there was a stampede upstairs and I had knocked on the ceiling to let them know that it was a bit much. You know what they did? Stomped back at me like children!
Just last week the handle for the toilet broke off inside the tank. When I opened it the whole thing was crumbled into rust fragments. It was sickening. When I told her about it she got huffy, as if it was my fault and an inconvenience for her to deal with. I’m losing sleep. I’m stressing out. Its hurting my relationship and my job. Anyone, Please help.

call the police every time they are making too much noise. inform the landlord in writing every time you have to call the police. I would do it every night if needed and then drop off a letter to her every morning saying your sleep was disturbed because of noise and that you had to call the police. then threaten to go to the building owner and tell the owner that the police are being called to the property every nite which gives the place a bad rep. keep on with the police and letters every day and in every letter ask to be let out of your lease.

Try ear plugs and a white noise machine or music. If you break lease, you’ll likely be responsible for the rent until someone else moves in. I know it sucks to not get a good night’s sleep, but weird noises are part of apartment living.

This poem has possibilities but you have to make it shorter. Don’t go so much into details. When poetry tell a story it must only touch the subject lightly. The horror and grief will come through better by not clearly stating the facts. Facts are far to heavy for poetry.
Use the essentials of what you want to convey. Your style is good. Some verses are very beautiful but they are overrun by the lenght of the poem,they cannot stand out anymore.
I hope you will allow me to say this because you have the potential to make it a great poem. Just needs some more work. Good Luck.
